As owner of Premiere Events, Teresa used her talents creating Wilmington’s first and finest full scale event design company. Her unique ideas and artistic touches set Teresa apart by providing her clients with memorable occasions specifically designed for them. She was able to transform their special day through her positivity and passion, often gaining lifelong friends as her work touched many lives.
Home Decor and Design
Teresa received great pleasure in decorating and designing for her home and others. She was featured in the Better Homes and Gardens Magazine in 2014 which showcased her skills in Christmas decor.
Professional Beach Volleyball
Known as “T.K.,” Teresa played women’s beach volleyball doubles and played professional beach volleyball in California. Teresa also enjoyed playing locally at Captain Bill’s and Dig and Dive in Wilmington, NC where she was honored by having a court named after her.

Teresa Leigh Koska Scholarship in Art
The Teresa Leigh Koska Scholarship in Art is hereby created as a named endowment fund within the Endowment of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. The scholarship is being created by Caroline and Ralph Reda in memory of Caroline's sister, Teresa Leigh Koska. The scholarship will be used to assist students pursuing a degree offered by the College of Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts majoring in Studio Art.
